MEET IVETTE DESAI

I am a mom, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. As an Integrative Yoga Health Coach I have a unique combination of skills in nutrition, exercise and lifestyle. I understand that each person has very unique dietary and physical needs which can change over time depending on the person’s level of stress or activity. I follow the concept of “bio-individuality” to eventually create your personal blueprint for success. By working together, we discover the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. Using Ayurveda & the 10 Habits of Yogis, I help you make gradual, lifelong changes enabling you to reach your current and future health goals. I have lead hundreds of peeps through cleanses for the past 7 years.

I focus on helping clients lose weight without dieting, increase energy, overcome emotional eating, beat sugar cravings, balance hormones, eat for autoimmune, identify food sensitivities, decrease stress levels, and heal through life’s transitions while developing deeper self love.

Julia grew up in New Jersey and has been a teacher of sustainable education for the past 20 years. She is currently working at the Ridge and Valley Charter school in Blairstown, NJ who’s charter is environmental sustainability. Julia has been interested in nutrition and health since she was a teenager and believes in the healing properties of the food we eat. She recently became interested in sustainable and ecological agriculture that improves and regenerates the entire ecosystem. Julia has a passion for gardening and growing her own food and has run the food pantry garden at her organic community garden for the past two years. The microgreen business was born out of a vision that she and her son had while starting their own garden from seed during the start of the pandemic. She enjoys nutritious food, growing and cultivating plants and sharing that love with others. She currently lives in Sparta, NJ with her husband and son. Julia has a tremendous love for the outdoors and pursues her love of skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking and biking.

Acupuncture – STRESS RELIEF & HEALING

I came to the practice of Chinese Medicine as a result of a life-long desire to become a health care provider, coupled with an equally long search for a comprehensive healing system that would incorporate the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the body. My undergraduate science education led me to understand that Western medicine, although incredibly advanced in some areas, lacked an understanding of how the physical component of the body integrated with the other elements of being human. I discovered acupuncture at the Bastyr Clinic in Seattle, Washington in 1996, and it was love at first sight. In 2007, I completed a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, where I studied acupuncture, herbology, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Tui Na (Chinese massage). In pursuit of furthering my education, I have studied with numerous teachers including Richard Tan (Balance Method Acupuncture), Martha Lucas (Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture), Toby Daly (Sa’am Acupuncture) and am currently in the Graduate Mentorship Program with Sharon Weizenbaum.

I believe that Chinese medicine and yoga are extremely practical tools for alleviating a wide variety of ailments, including pain, insomnia, anxiety, menstrual disorders and many, many other things.


BREATH WORK TO CONNECT WITH YOUR INNER SELF

April Linson is a Breathwork Healing Facilitator trained under both David Elliott and Erin Telford. She is also a Tuning Forks/Sound Healer, Certified Yoga Instructor, a wife and a mama. April is a co-owner of Prana Yoga Center located in Denville NJ, along with her sister Christy.

Coming into the world as a shy and sensitive spirit, April has developed a deep understanding and familiarity with the struggle of being seen and heard. Her personal work through generational healing, releasing limiting belief systems, and learning to befriend her body after a life threatening trauma following her daughter’s birth, has gifted her with wisdom, strength and insight. April firmly believes she is on this planet to show others the pathway back home to themselves one breath at a time.

Utilizing the Sacred Medicine of the Breath, April extends her hand to you with an invitation to take your healing journey into your own hands. She believes that all relationship depends on how deep you are willing to go with yourself and that deep, true, lasting transformation can occur when we show up for every part of ourselves.
